What Style of Gloves Compliment a Wool Coat?

I'm looking to purchase some gloves that are warm, but also compliment a wool coat. The coat is black and has buttons, similar to a pea coat but not double breasted. I have tried leather driving gloves but they look goofy with the slightly over sized sleeves on the coat.

1. i wear cashmere lined leather gloves with my wool coats. I have a few different coats ranging from peacoat, full length trench to duffle coat. And the leather seem to look the best for me.
